School Dinners

At The Peak Academy, we understand just how important it is for young people to have a healthy and balanced diet. That is why our school lunch menu is filled with a variety of nutritious, high-quality meals, and we encourage parents to provide healthy options in their child's lunchbox. 

The current menu can be downloaded below: 


Mid-morning Snack 

Mid-morning fruit is provided for all children. 

Lunches 

Children may bring in a packed lunch. The Peak Academy supports the provision of a healthy lunch box, encouraging parents to include healthy options. A leaflet produced by Gloucester Health Promotion suggesting healthy ideas is available in school. 


A cooked lunch can be provided at the school if required. Your child might be able to get free school meals if you receive any of the following: 

  • Income Support 

  • Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance 

  • Income-related Employment and Support Allowance 

  • Support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999 

  • The Guaranteed Element of Pension Credit 

  • Child Tax Credit (Provided you’re not also entitled to working tax credit and have an annual gross income of no more than £16,190) 

  • Working Tax Credit Run-on (Paid for 4 weeks after you stop qualifying for working tax credit) 

  • Universal Credit
