Year 7 Induction Programme

The Year 7 induction programme is an integrated programme that supports pupils when they first start at The Peak Academy.   They will follow a curriculum based on Social and Emotional Learning, placing these skills first and foremost tailored to the needs of each pupil, alongside an academic structure of learning.  We use a theme based approach and work through a varied range of topics that help pupils engage in their learning, whilst developing the skills pupils need to meet their personalised targets.

We aim to ensure our pupils are ready and able to learn before they increase the more academic focused curriculum of main school. Each pupil has the opportunity to develop and progress at their own pace and within their own capabilities.
