Pupil Council End of Year Meeting

12 December 2019
Pupil Council End of Year Meeting

The Pupil Council met today for the final meeting of the year.

We were very pleased to welcome our Chair of Governors as both a guest and contributor.

The Chair of Governors gave a talk about the importance of ‘Online Safety’ and we established that the Pupil Council will also become the Online Safety Group.

The Council discussed whether On-Line safety knowledge has improved? Whether pupils know how to keep safe? And where and how pupils receive their Online Safety information?

Next term all Tutor Groups will be provided with specific Online Safety information to go onto their Tutor Group notice boards.

Pupils reported back on the positive things that have happened during Tutor times, some of which were: reorganizing the Art and Science rooms to create a better environment, sharing of materials and resources, better interaction between pupils during Tutor time, modeling of good behavior, great support from TAs and the seasonal tradition of sending Christmas cards to each other.

We all enjoyed a piece of chocolate cake together and are looking forward to our next meeting in 2020 which is not far off at all!
