Serenity is The Peak Academy’s specialist girls unit. The unit is self-contained and consists of: A classroom, a study room, dining room, focus room, bathroom, garden, willow igloo and an outdoor classroom (the cabin).
Forest School is an inspirational process, that offers ALL learners regular opportunities to achieve and develop confidence and self-esteem through hands-on learning experiences in a woodland or natural environment with trees.
Core to the ethos of The Peak Academy is teamwork and family values. To further embed this into the culture of our young people, we have introduced a house system to augment our existing approaches, and to reward and engage our students.
The Peak Academy Pupil Council seeks to provide the members with opportunities for leadership and responsibility, as well as ensuring every pupil is able to voice their opinions and suggestions in an appropriate way, and with maximum impact for the whole community.
Online Safety is about the protection of children whilst they are using the internet and digital technologies via mobile phones, games consoles and wireless technology. It highlights the need to educate children and young people about the benefits, risks and responsibilities of using information technology.
What is the school nurse drop-in? Weekly drop-in service at lunchtimes. No appointment necessary. But sometimes we might invite you, or a teacher might suggest you attend. School nurses provide advice and support on any issue.
