PE Update

13th June 2018

Today our Year 10’s had their first session with RugbyWorks.

RugbyWorks, founded by Lawrence Dallaglio, is an intensive, long-term skills development programme based on the values of rugby. The aim is to get teenagers outside of mainstream education into sustained education, employment or training.

The boys have two taster sessions this term and will then have weekly timetables sessions throughout Year 11 and then supported in Year 12 by a mentor when they leave The Peak.

This work will not only give them essential physical exercise each week and teach them both the skills and values of ruby, but the programme will also teach them work skills which they will require post education.

The Nevis boys took to their first session with great enthusiasm as the photos show!
