We are extremely lucky at The Peak Academy to have excellent relations and support from the local police, who routinely come and assist with aspects of the course. From drugs abuse to sexting, our pupils really benefit from the real-life examples and experiences that these visiting officers can bring to the classroom.

In addition to weekly PSHE lessons, pupils have access to support and learning opportunities from external agencies, including Cheltenham Town FC, which enhances the curriculum offer.
KS4 pupils have the opportunity to complete two courses:
MENTalk — An emotional, mental health, and wellbeing programme for young men.
‘KYB&KS2’ — A five-week programme developed by NHS Gloucestershire’s Public Health Team and Gloucestershire County Council that addresses issues such as mental wellbeing, positive attitudes, alcohol and substance misuse, and sexual health.
