So after a fun snow day last Friday we came back to a fully packed week!
The girls have been interviewing Miss Jess about her Mums experience during and after WW2 when the Germans were expelled from Czechoslovakia and the conditions she survived in. They are then writing a formal report as their English assessment. This links in with our English text 'The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas'. We have also produced posters to remember the Holocaust.
One of our year 7's Vievien planned and delivered a fantastic PE lesson so the girls enjoyed a session of Badminton.
In Art we are looking at Gaudi. Hope has produced an exquisite picture based on 'La Sagrada Familia' in Barcelona.
In PSHE we have been looking at mental health and the girls have made pictures of jam jars to put their 'big worries' and 'small worries' inside.
