It has been another exciting week of maths at the Peak this week.
With the GCSE period fast approaching our year 11 pupils have been getting into exam mode and have been completing practice papers under exam conditions and they have all handled the pressures and stresses that this can cause, which highlights their own personal journeys and how far they have come as individuals and young adults.
However my Peak of the Week would have to be taking some pupils outside to support the pastoral and site team by getting the football pitch ready for next week’s big game. The pupils had to mark the pitch out, using measures and guides and mark the lines accurately for the pitch. This truly represents our values and supporting one another in the peak way whilst also bringing maths to life.
