Everest Update 9th May 2019

This week in Everest has been a interesting and adventurous one.

We are still making progress with the book Ratburger by David Walliams and we are completing numerous tasks affiliated with the book. We are completing individual work structured around weak points to improve our Maths skills. In Art we are studying the works of Henri Rousseau and completing assessments in our own style and our own interpretations of his work. In PE the focal point is cricket and all pupils are making huge leaps in progress with their batting and fielding skills.

This week the four outdoor Education pupils from Everest went climbing and bouldering at Green Spider climbing centre. The pupils had to conquer their fears and summit a 30ft vertical wall in order to achieve their level 1 in climbing, this was fearlessly done and we are please to have everyone back on the ground.

Overall the week in Everest has been a successful one.
