The week in Everest has been an alternate and enjoyable one.
We are making great progress with the book Holes by Louis Sachar and are completing numerous tasks affiliated with the book. We are still learning how to accurately tell the time using analogue and digital methods in Maths. In Art we have been completing work in the style of Pablo Picasso. This week the four outdoor Education pupils from Everest took part in an adventure walk in the Forest of Dean, the pupils had to face their fears in a balancing exercise and show courage and determination.
This week the whole school has been participating in world book day; the Everest pupils have attended a lesson in each subject that has been inspired by a book or author of choice from the subject teacher. This was thoroughly enjoyed by pupils and staff and the atmosphere was excitable and productive throughout.
Overall the week in Everest has been a positive and enjoyable one.
