Everest Update 23rd May 2019

This week in Everest has been a vibrant and warm one.

We have completed the book Ratburger by David Walliams have completed a detailed book review and various fun tasks. We are still completing individual work structured around weak points it improve our Maths skills. In Art we are studying the works of Henri Rousseau and completing assessments and previous assessment feedback on this.

In PE the focal point is Golf and all pupils are making huge leaps in progress with their skills and are hoping to represent the school in a competition hosted at Hartpury College. In PSHE the focus is mindfulness and each pupil will be leading their peers in various mindfulness activities.

This week the four outdoor Education pupils from Everest went caving in Symonds Yat rock. The pupils had to conquer their fears and squeeze through extremely tight gaps in the rock hoping to make it through to the other side, this was fearlessly done and we are pleased with the end result.

Overall the week in Everest has been a fantastic one.
