Everest Update 21st March 2019

This week in Everest has been an adventurous and productive one.

We are still making great progress with the book Holes by Louis Sachar and are completing numerous tasks affiliated with the book. We are still learning how to accurately tell the time using analogue and digital methods in Maths. In Art we are still recreating our own masterpieces in the style of Pablo Picasso.

This week the four outdoor Education pupils from Everest went canoeing. The pupils had to face their fears by performing a capsize and rescuing each other from the water. This took great courage and the Peak Values were displayed by all pupils at all times. In PSHE the focus was the importance of being active and this crossed over to PE where the pupils have been using the newly refurbished fitness suite and working on improving their strength and conditioning.

Overall the week in Everest has been a successful one.
