This week in Everest has been a bright and warm one.
We are still making progress with the book Ratburger by David Walliams and we are completing numerous tasks affiliated with the book including making our own weird and wacky burger recipes. We are still completing individual work structured around weak points it improve our Maths skills. In Art we are studying the works of Henri Rousseau and completing assessment feedback on this.
In PE the focal point is Golf and all pupils are making huge leaps in progress with their skills. In PSHE the focus is the Eat Well plate and the pupils are learning about the three macronutrient groups and how to construct a balanced diet.
This week the four outdoor Education pupils from Everest went abseiling down a vertical rock face. The pupils had to conquer their fears and descend a 30ft vertical rock in order to progress in their level 1 in climbing, this was fearlessly done and we are pleased with the end result.
Overall the week in Everest has been a fantastic one.
