I have completed a thoroughly enjoyable week of teaching and helping our students explore Maths in a different light.
Students having a fun maths lesson seeing if the can beat the 100m Olympic record time of 12sec from 1826.
Students are developing their understanding of fractions, decimals and percentages and looking at the relationship between them. Year 11 are busily preparing for their Maths GCSE and have mock exams pending.
This week in Maths, students were learning how to break down a question and seeing what a fraction of a quantity is.
Donard and Scarfell have been working on probability including mutually exclusive events and outcomes.

Snowdon, Donard and Scarfell are getting ready to take their functional skills maths and are working hard towards their end of year exams.
The Greenfield Academy is currently based at The Peak Academy in Dursley. Pupils from both schools are working together as Peak pupils until the new Greenfield Academy school has been built.
