We welcomed everyone safely back after their week off, some of the boys had had a busy week, some were unlucky enough to have been poorly for most of it.
This week the boys have had a busy week coming to the end of their topics for this term.
During our Art lessons we have been investigating and creating dreamcatchers.
We’ve been continuing with Roald Dahl’s Charlie and The Chocolate Factory theme.
In our Literacy lessons we have been testing our knowledge of the Speed Sounds, this will help us when we are trying to spell new words.
The Boys have now started a 6 week block of Food Technology lessons, last week they made a fruit salad and this week they have made a cous cous salad with crudities and an accompanying dip. Their cutting skills are improving.
We have welcomed the boys back into Everest after the Christmas break. We’ve had a short but full week.
The boys enjoyed a snow day at home on Monday. Luckily enough the snow was still here Tuesday for them to enjoy making a snowman
The boys started Equine therapy this week.
This week in Everest we have been creating new recipe’s to turn human’s into animals.
Everest have been continuing with The Witches by Roald Dahl and have used this theme when creating some poems.
The boys have enjoyed creating alternative covers for The Witches by Roald Dahl.
The Greenfield Academy is currently based at The Peak Academy in Dursley. Pupils from both schools are working together as Peak pupils until the new Greenfield Academy school has been built.
