Some excellent work in DT from KS 3 boys creating mortise and tenon joints for a child’s stool, a cabinet door and also a shield for play.
It has been a strange week for the DT staff as with so many pupils doing different things, progress on Project has been hampered.
Week 4 has seen some great work going on in DT.
The Sneaky Peakers racing team did us proud at the Soap Box downhill Derby – They won best looking car of the day!
This week in DT once again belongs to the Peak downhill racing team – what a project!
This week in DT belongs to the downhill racer team who are manufacturing the most amazing vehicle to race.
Well this week all the credit has to go to the Serenity Girls and Anthony D who managed their task from beginning to end.
This week in DT, the BTEC boys have continued to paint the Wooton Changing rooms with all the other pupils getting through their projects.
Year 10 BTEC pupils have been painting a changing room of a local team in Wotton and making an excellent job of it.
The quality of products continues to be impressive with the Nevis boys completing their Entry level GCSE projects.
Wow – what a week – this has been a week of completion for so many pupils at The Peak.
Year 11 have made great progress with the stools for ‘Space Oasis’ three are now ready for varnish and this will be done next week ahead of schedule. Well done boys.
The Greenfield Academy is currently based at The Peak Academy in Dursley. Pupils from both schools are working together as Peak pupils until the new Greenfield Academy school has been built.
